His perseverance enabled him to complete medical school at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where he laid the groundwork for a profession characterized by empathy, accuracy, and creativity. After completing his general surgery residency at Texas Tech, Dr. Murillo went on to the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston for advanced fellowship training in both plastic surgery and burn surgery.

Throughout the entire process (pre-surgery and post-operative), Dr. Murillo was sensitive and understood my anxiety/fears.
